Will this light-blocking phenomenon be changed in the future? Is the same restriction used in other lightmapping programs?

Well, ya lean something new every day! However, in my brief experiment with that, once the object was frozen, I was unable to select its vertices for welding with another object. Thanks, though. It ...

Is there any way to lock an object so that it can't be moved or altered? Is that what "preserve ratio" does?

That's what I thought about the precision part, but what about the welding part? When v1.4 comes out, will two vertices that are 0.21341562517 units apart weld properly into one? And if so, where do ...

Well, now I'm even more confused. I've tried turning snapping on and off, both globally and for individual objects. Yet, for example, when I create a 36-sided cylinder that's twelve grid spaces wide ...

The next version of DeleD is supposed to use that double-precision stuff, so that you can have practically-perfect circles instead of them snapping to the grid after a save, right?

Assuming I got t ...

You map is now 'ruined'.
That's what I was afraid of. Is this a legitimate concern? Should I look forward to a time when DeleD won't do this, or is it to be expected from all 3D programs?

A few weks ago, after designing a clean-cut world in DeleD Lite, I proceeded to light the scene and save the file afterward. Switching back to the wireframe view, I was shocked to discover that all t ...

You position the cylinder's top and bottom centers.
You type in the number of sides you want it to have.
You type in the radius you want it to be.

The cylinder's round shape is created independen ...

When/if you implement a radius-based cylinder tool, that'll eliminate the problem of cylinder vertices snapping to the grid after a save, right? (I'm hoping to make some tiny cylinders, and I don't w ...

Well, to answer you question, I'm just trying to make a hexagonal column. I want each of the hexagon's corners to be a specific and equal distance from the hexagon's center. For now, I'll just move ...

Though the suggestions given may help me with other problems I've been having, they didn't seem to solve this one. Maybe I'm not seeing it, but there doesn't appear to be any way to make a column sha ...

I'd like to make a hexagonal cylinder, with the corners all an equal distance from the center. However, when creating the cylinder, it doesn't snap to the grid. If I try to scale it, it doesn't come ...

I'm exporting models for use in Blink 3D. I don't understand if the trouble is with Deled, the Ogre Mesh export, or the implementation in Blink. Clive (from Blink 3D) was going to look into the prob ...
