Yeah, Ive had these problems... but nothing major... Selecting vets in All views but 3d works 
Selecting faces worked in 3d as well for me. |

Um, How come when I click on one of the objects in view, it does not get selected....? Im not used to "3D Modeling" and am hoping to get into it |

| Never mind guys ... I just re-installed windows on my pc yesterday and forgot graphics card drivers
