My point (for Juha, if he's still around) was just that I think the direct "wishes" of an original author of any given piece of software always overrule the specifics of any given license.

The source files say the license is GNU GPL version 3. I guess that is the intended license.
However the COPYING.txt says: "The DeleD source is mainly covered by the GPLv2 license."

As far as I know he did get it 100% working with the original method of rendering, but then after beginning to attempt to move it over to use Lazarus' TOpenGLCon ...

That looks rather good, even though the MDI layout isn't functional.
I noticed it says DeleD 1.0 CE. I take it you did actually port the most current (2.45) version of DeleD? What's up with the 1.0? ...
