Thanks for the detailed response, I have used several packages before (Amapi, truSpace, milkshape3d)

I was expecting to be able, as you said, to be able to move in two directions, but could ...

I just had that, saving, restarting, reloading fixed it :/

using 1.53 pro

now I feel stupid, I had restrict to X set...

but the question remains, when restrict to X was set, why was the side view allowing me to move in both th Y and Z axis?

How on earth do you move things?

I've got some walls I made:
On top view I can move the walls left / right (left and right)
but not up/down (back and forward)

On front view I can move the wall ...
