Same problem with textures on my Vaio running Vista. Restoring the system to prior to 12 Feb, my last Vista update, cured the problem.

But it is the McAfee on-access virus scan that prevents DeleD from writing the ini. At least, when I defeat McAfee, it all works.

Hmmm. Thanks. I must have missed that somewhere. And no way to extrude a grid into a solid.
I think JWatte had a different sort of problem that I have also encountered but cannot reproduce now.
