Why does intersect object, sometimes make the whole onject disapear?
I have a wall, which is subdivided into 4 sections, and i am trying to cut window into it - but when i do, the whole wall disapears?
Cheers

The intersect option only keeps what is in the intersection of the CSG operator and the other object.
I use a substract CSG operation when I'm at carving some windows, I think it's more appropriate. _________________ OL. |

mappy is right - use subtract to create windows. Do note that you can use a single operator object on more than 1 object at a time. |

Ah, in that case, the operator being used might be bigger than the object being cut. Is that the case?
For example, the same thing happens if you place a small cube inside a larger cube and use the large cube as operator in an subtraction command. |

The operator is the last object you've selected _________________ OL. |

Select your wall, then select your cutout. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.
