Cool, nifty little tutorial! The topic had me confuzzled for a moment (a spotlight? how can you model a spotlight? aha, the cone of light shining from a spotlight!) but I really don't think it could be made any more clear than this.
One funny typo, "spoltight" in the first sentence.
On to business: we would really like to host a version of this mini-tutorial in our tutorial section. So if that's ok with you, I suggest
1. I run through the tutorial it and copy it into our template format (hardly any work, but there is no reason why you should be bothered with it)
2. We backlink from the tutorial to your tutorial page (if you'd like, that is). |

I discussed that with Jeroen, I'll make copies to host on the delgine site when they are done. I'd like to make sure it's consise enough that everyone understands. _________________

That's a great tutorial. It explains things to the point that only a total newbie to deled would need to ask any questions. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

Note that the white border around the bottom edge only appears in the editor because I think Deled uses GL_REPEAT as the clamping mode on all textures. I'm going to change the texture I used because it's too bright at the top, and takes too long to get black.
If you apply noise to the spotlight texture, and set it in your engine to scroll, it simulates the dust passing through the spotlight that you would normally see. Looks nice. _________________

Lol, no, it was a suggestion for the tutorial, which I removed when I saw that you had already done it. |

I updated this tutorial and added an extra explanation to the end of the tutorial about being a non solid object. It's done now. One of you two can just paste it into the template and upload it here. _________________

More to come. I have a list of things in my head. I am no longer going to create a giant 'modelling and lighting a room' tutorial. I'm going to break it up in smaller tutorials. It just requires too much to put together, it's too broad a subject, both for me to evre finish, and for the reader to take in at once.
I'll cover random subjects as I think of them, when inspiration comes, and I can think of the right words to properly describe everything. Also, the fact that Jereon seems to have already uploaded a copy of this is the reason why I shouldn't edit the template. (not an html guy~!)
Something I need to write one day is "DELED IS NOT A BRUSH EDITOR". _________________
