That's why I only use a few lights in my scenes. I can't wait to get the lightmaps finished. 9 Minutes was okay for the final map but I wouldn't want to wait an hour or so. I'm curious to see your result lightmapping the scene!
They are gone. It takes too long for me to lightmap it, and it requires too much lightmapping and then moving the lights around after. Wink

Maybe I'll try again later.

Scaling it by 1000 helped. Very Happy About 45 seconds to lightmap. Trying to get moonlight in.

I like! Very nice atmosphere like this! Very Happy

I'm having a hard time trying to decide which picture (either Fletcher's original or VD's lightmapped ones) to use in our gallery... suggestions anyone?

That's completly unfair to Fletcher, and I hope you were joking. Mad Laughing

I just messed around with some lights, uninvited, while Fletcher made what has to be one of the greatest things ever created in DeleD. Confused

Indeed it is one of the greatest things ever created in DeleD, no doubt about that! That's why I want the greatest picture of that creation to be put in the gallery. It doesn't really matter who lightmapped and rendered the scene - it will always be Fletcher's creation, as everybody here knows, so it'll be Fletcher's name that'll be put into the gallery... Wink

I like the bluish moonlight and the lights on that hallway & the tower but sime lights are kind of end too sharp (at the entrance, the lawn).

Right!

Hard decision, indeed. I think VD's are a bit too dark for a gallery picture. I'd say, I would prefer: 1. 18 / 19 3. 23 4. 21 What do the others say?

Truly excellent work! I visited PJ this weekend and we have both been sitting behind the computer with a huge grin on our faces when we saw your latest creation

Very Happy

Smart work with all the "windows" textures BTW.

Yep, only way to do it while keeping the poly count unter 20,000.

Yeah seconds. The window lights cut off really quickly. Laughing

18. 19 blocks out too many details.

19 gives a nice overview of the whole creation - I like it. Smile

Edit: I've added 19 to the gallery. But if someone creates a better image, we can always change the entry.

I bow down before your superior modelling skills. But seriously, it sucks Razz.

It's great to see some larger scale stuff done in DeleD, fantastic work!
