Although we're busy, do keep the suggestions coming. Wink

What exactly would a camera do when exporting a scene for rendering?

I understand terms like aspect ratio and FOV but in what way would an export benefit from this? I have only little experience with other programs but I imagine other programs being capable of reading a FOV+the entire scene (geometry) and render a nice picture accordingly. Is that what is wanted?

I thin you need the camera position for programs like pov-ray to know, what the program has to render without setting it up in the program itself, so you can directly command pov-ray to render the image (i never knew pov-ray, though)
