Zoom to object/ selection

I sometimes have trouble zooming in close enough to work with out over-zooming. I would like a button to zoom to selection.

I used to have that trouble too, there are zoom speed options in in the options dialog, they work very good. 15 in the 2d zoomspeed seemed to be good enough.

I would'nt prefer something like this. I have worked with some other Modelers like Silo or Wings3D who have this function automatic used. It was very difficult to much objects at once.

Rightclick on a 2D view and use the popup menu to Focus to selection or Zoom all. This works for 2D views only.

Note that DeleD 1.5 includes improved versions of these commands. Wink

That still does not bring me in to a specific vertex I am woking on. I can't wait to see the imporved verions. Thanks Jeroen

@Sindwiller: I would not want it on auto either, but WANT a manual version. I find myself doing a lot of of serching when zoomed in.
