I have a couple questions. I didn't see these asked anywhere else.

1. If I had a building that was square, or perferably cylinder, how could I align a inner hollowed cylinder within a defined depth inside the outer cylinder? I wan't to implement more geometrical correct window on a circuler 15 story building.

2. How do I increase the poly count on the outside of a cylinder to get rid of the cookie cutter look?

Thanks.

1. I'm not sure I understand...
2. Use the 'sides' option on the creation properties for the cynlinder.

Basiclly the inner alignmen question is asking how to align a smaller cylinder dead center with a bigger cylinder. I know about the snap to config, but I need this circle off the center of a grid.

I find it extremely difficult to get the inner cylinder a fixed distance from the outer cylinder on all side by scaling.

Set them both to center snapping. Scale both of them to the proper sizes... eg, 64 and 32 or something, and then just line them up around a point on the grid. You can connect them or whatever you need them to do, and then move them to their proper spot later.

In the next version of DeleD, there will be an align function which you can use to align your object in several ways. This will probably do what you described here.

1. Can't you use the Hollow command with Merge Percentage set to the defined depth you want?

2. What Vampyre said. Also, you can connect edges and vertices using the Connect tool (or by pressing C). This'll create more polygons too.

@Mr Fletcher: do you mean the Align function for objects? That's already available, but PRO only.

Yep, I meant that one. I got confused with all those versions to test Laughing
Forgot that it was only for objects, not for other primitives.
