Hey,this is like my first time posting here I think. Anyhow, a while back I used deled to create levels for my game. Now, ever since I switched from windows me to windows xp, the 3d view does not work in textured or lightmapped mode, but works in solid or wireframe. Is there anyway to fix this? _________________ ColdWar Is underway and nobody knows it! extrenal scripting 50% done working on models and physics 100% done. guns 1% done. sadly only an m4 right now. check out www.myspace.com/coldwargame for updates if there are any.more then likely in blogs. |

Just a shot in the dark: Did you bother installing new graphics drivers? WinXP doesn't support OpenGL1.1 very well out of the box, let alone all the 1.2 (and higher) features that the 3d viewport is using.
Choose the appropriate site to get your new video drivers:
www.nvidia.com
www.ati.com
If you have a different brand of card, you'll have to google. _________________

Choose the driver file that corresponds to your card. They have ones for the old TNT models, and then ones for the Geforce cards etc... _________________

I'd say that's at least an "educated guess". Every similar problem reported thus far has been resolved by the user updating their display drivers. |

Just a thought. Perhaps a later version of DeleD could query the OpenGL vendor and if it shows up as microsoft's generic driver, advise the user to update their drivers. _________________ drop into #delgine on irc.scene.org |

Sounds like a good idea to me! Taking notes to look into this... too bad we can't request a 'driver date', too. |
