Please look into these valuable tools.

Lasso select. It is hard sometimes to just use a square.

Hide Freeze selected (not objects): If I am working on a human head. I want to hide the back portion to make it easier to work on the front of the mesh.

Lathe: I found it hard to make items like pots.

Lasso select will really make more complex editing easier. Maybe have rasio button box selector lasso.
