Well, the engine looks fine but the map isnt something innovative alright. How about some more detail?

More détails = more polygon so more power of the servers.
We make map with more details but it is very long if we want low poly.
Little screen to my test : _________________ Formation gratuites

AFAIK, no. The clients render the geometry, and not the servers. Also, more detail does not only mean more polygons. What about right scaled textures? Or some self-made textures who fit into the theme?

Not really. When i do something high-poly, it makes me more time of, because high polycount means that there is more detail possible.

How about, make them yourself? You just need to take a picture of a surface you want, then make it seamless (there are thousands of tutorials about that) and maybe edit it, like, high passes, dodge and burn, hue/saturation etc.

Sometimes people are just not very good at making textures (I for one) or don't have the time to create them properly (I again ). So in theory, yes, it may be simple to create a goodlooking texture but there are more things to consider. I can certainly imagine that time is a limiting factor when being involved in such a large undertaking as espritcool is. |
