My guess: he's not an earthling. The Dave we all know was replaced by an alien. All other theories simply are not believable.
Why I say that? Not only because he is ultra-fast.
Because one of the reasons I got into DeleD was because I was trying to model the Alexandrian Library which looks like this (in Carl Sagan's mind of course):

On a sidenote: whoever doesn't know what this 'one stop for all science of the earth' 2000 years ago was, please read this. Just imagine: they knew a lot these days. They knew that the earth was round and running around the sun, for example.

There are none in the pic.
Granada, just a suggestion.. the upper floor should be held up by some kid of 'balcony' kind of struct, and not just a floating board. :S |

The pillers are holding up the balcony,but looking at it again i see what you mean by floating
