It just might be nice to be able to scroll 2D windows using the right click button while I'm using the polyline tool so that I can trace large objects with precision. _________________

Good point!
We'll put this on the list. In the meanwhile, suggestions for an alternative interface are more than welcome. Right-click to end a poly-line is more or less an industry standard, but if it is too much in the way we could abandon it. Or find another way to scroll the 2D views. |

Well, the middle click already moves the 2D views (just not when you're making a polyline), but not everyone has a middle button on their mouse.
You could try some combination like ctrl/shift/alt + right click, or you might just want to let people set their own buttons.
I'd be happy with any of those. _________________
