You can't. The least number of vertices you can make at a time is three -- use the polyline tool by clicking in two different places and then right clicking in a third -- then you can take all three of those vertices and move them onto the same point (don't forget to turn snap on)
Out of curiosity, why do you want a single vertex? _________________

Hi
Thank you for the answer.
I need single vertics to create the walls from a building all in one. If i´m ready, i connect all vertices and extrude them up.

Are you saying that you're creating a building vertex by vertex? _________________

Hi
Yes, but only the floor lowest and only it is a complicate floor. Simple rooms i create a cube and make hollow operation.
I hope you can understand my english, it is not so very good, but i´m german.

I would strongly suggest that you don't try to create a room with single vertices. Just make the basic shapes first and edit from there, otherwise you'll be wasting most of your time.
Is this for a game or just plain modelling? _________________

Vijchti is right - buildings (and simular objects) should not be made using single vertices. Try something like this instead:
-create a cube
-use Hollow on that cube so that it has an inside
-use CSG subtract to create doors and windows, using other cubes to define the shape of those doors/windows
Another way, for example, is using the PolyLine, Inset, Hollow and Extrude functions to create doors etc. For example, you can use the PolyLine to create a complicated floor and then use Extrude and Hollow to create the actual room. The use Inset and Extrude to create your doors.
Edit: I just read you're using the first method already, except for the CSG part. |

Hi
Thanks. I think it is to much work with single vertices. Now i do the following.
Create a rectangle or small cubes along the walls. If i´m ready i extrude the created up (all together)

Good to see you worked it out. If I understand it correctly, you can do the same with PolyLine and Extrude. Just like I explained in my previous post. Give it a try, you'll see what I mean. Feel free to post your results here if you want. People can help out better when they can see what you're trying to do (a picture says more than a 1000 words ). |

Click right button of the mouse very fast just once. A popup menu will show up. You can create a screenshot of your work using the options in that popup menu. |
