Given a few good textures (Nocturn's are great), Dave can do that too now.
How about entering that compo they're talking about, Dave? |

I like what Evak has done here, interesting idea i might have a go at this.Make prefabs and then put them together like building blocks to build your level
(bit high on the poly count though )

That's the whole idea behind prefabs. Only build your geometry once and reuse it in your levels as much as you want. |

The whole prefab idea is underrated unfortunately. From what I saw in the CShop Forums people don't seem to use it much.
For an undergound level this might be the way to go. But I do admit that I like Dave's style of creating levels this way - you couldn't do this with prefabs. It looks more organic that way. |

True DIrk,but a lot of time and work this way about 4 hours just to build that small level
(four me that seems like 4 days )

This looks really nice. I think some good HiTech Textures makes the Difference. The Tile system isn't a bad idea. But very hard to use ? |

I don't know much about CShop but I have a feeling that DeleD's prefab system is more intuitive than CShop's. If prefabs are made carefully, I think you could create a level like Dave's with prefabs too although, indeed, you would have to take care of the organic feel. |

This guy simply inhales every idea and converts it in no time to a mesh. Incredible. |
