|
|
This is likely a dumb question - perhaps I just stayed up too late playing with DeleD but, I cannot seem to figure out how to scale a texture. I put a real nice cobblestone texture on a road but each cobble is about 8 feet across...
Its probably staring me in the face but I can't seem to find it anywhere. |

1. Select the object that the texture is on.
2. Switch to Face Mode by either clicking on the wavy lines symbol under Edit Mode or by pressing F.
3. Shift + Click the faces you want to edit (or press ctrl + a to select all of the faces on that object).
4. Press Scale under Low Polygon Editing.

Oh, allthough Vampyre is right, step number 2 doesn't have to be executed. DeleD automatically sets AutoUV to false (off) when using Face commands nowadays.
And yes, we are in the midst of updating the Help file. |

Cool, thanks!
I also accidently discovered that if you left-click and drag in one of the 2D views you can interactively scale the textures. Much easier to match walls that way. |
