DeleD will be mostly used for mapping and perhaps a little prop modelling.
As for game features, let me just say that we are filling most gaps in the genre. We are mixing various features from several games like Star Wars: Battlefront and Movie Battles II Mod for JKA, to achieve a perfect balance between realism and gameplay while adding another concepts from games like Republic Commando and finally, a few created by ourselves. Well, ok I guess we can reveal a few light features.
Since most of games in this genre usually lead the player to pursue personal glory instead of helping the team, which deteriorates a lot the realism and gameplay qualities, we focused on tracking and removing the source of such problem. Thus we realized most of this was influenciated by minor features that almost every shooter possesses, which are the kill scoreboard, and the kill confirm messages, and the public chat which we decided to remove. Though this might seem of minor importance, we think that a player which isnt concerned about having his score posted on the highest rank will be most likely play for the team and the exclusion of kill messages will surely avoid a lot of personal vendettas, since you didnt knew who exactly who did you killed. Also since the public seems to be one of the main causes of conflicts inside a community we decided to remove that also though keeping Team Chat in form of voice Chat with apropriated limitations of course. _________________ AGoW - A Galaxy at War - Visit us at #AGoW on quakenet! |

If you get a little further along in development and need some help making maps (as long as you don't have a time limit, I'm busy as hell right now), I might be able to lend a hand.
As a note of caution, though, your models are a little too close to the originals. Wouldn't be much fun getting a cease and desist over that... _________________

If you wish to contribute, feel free to choose the schedule that best fits you. We surely are in need of a testmap, but I guess we can work something out by our own.

We are aware of Lucasarts policies. We are allowed to use any sort of secondary characters as long as we dont use any names (like obi-wan or anakin skywalker).
