I'm sure you're all familiar with the rectangle you get when you try to create a cube with the grid set too high (or the line you get from your rectangle, etc.). To solve this problem, the cube should snap in such a way that there's always at least one grid length between two vertices.

For example:

What it becomes at this grid size


What it will become if this is fixed:


And yes, I know I can just turn snapping off when I make shapes or just fix the default sizes for x, y, or z...but I'm a lazy bum. Smile

Bump.

This still bugs the hell out of me. It's very time consuming to either change each default x, y, and z dimension and then change each of them them back or to turn off snapping, create the cube, fix the vertices, turn snapping on again, and fix the vertex position once more.

Actually, I use this to generate 2D (planar) geometry. To generate a circle, draw a cylinder, and scale it down until it snaps.
