It's been empty in here lately, so I guess I've been coming up with suggestions to fill the void. Smile

Rotating and scaling objects would be easier if you could designate points on objects that stay exactly where they are as you move the object. Preferably, this would work like it does in most image editing programs (photoshop, for example) where you just grab a corner or an edge and everything else stays in place:

I'm sure you know how this works, where you can grab any handle and just scale from that point or rotate around the target.

Yeah, just like we don't already have 2401932 other feature requests already. Laughing Just kidding, keep those suggestions coming! We won't be able to implement all of them but it sure helps us to decide which direction DeleD should go!

Btw, nice suggestion, of course. Smile

Speaking of which, where is that implicit constructive exchange integrator you told me you'd add? You know it'd help speed up my workflow...

Working on it! But right now I'm busy with explicit interchangable dockable userinteractive forms. In other words: to be able to dock the Create/Edit, Scene, Material Picker and Object Inspector forms seperately on both the left and right sides of the application. Wink

If you implemented that, the technology behind it would also come handy for other commands. Imagine extruding edges around a point, creating a round object. Or expanding the cloning command by "rotate around point".

Love to see this feature added to Delgine, heck most of my fustration comes from trying to rescale a object.
