You can change the mode of selection using the edit mode selection.
I forget what the first 3 are called, but the last 2 are face and object.
Give them a try and see what you think. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

By the way, I think the term you're using as "face" is what we know as a "polygon." Thus, you should probably click on the button that looks like a triangle unless you want to mess with the texture. _________________

Okay let me ask you how you do this, say have a box and only want to texture one side of the box and rest of sides remain the same. How do I do this in Delgine ? Know how do this in 3D Max and 3D World _________________

Click to highlight your object, change to face mode, click the face you want to texture.
If you then want to adjust the uv of your texture, go into scene mode, right click the name of your object and turn autoUv off, then you can scale, rotate, or size your texture on the face. (still in face mode) _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

Trucker:
I am curious about your advice to "... turn autoUv off, then you can scale, rotate, or size your texture on the face. (still in face mode)"
I want to expand a texture jpg to fill the entire face rather than tiling. I can do this with Blender, but see no option for Delgine. Sounds like "size your texture" would do the job, but where can I find it? _________________ George Losey |

Hey there losey, welcome to these forums!
You can use the Gen. UV command (enabled in Face mode) to achieve what you want. It has the "Fit texture size to face" option Trucker refers to. Also, there is no need to turn AutoUV off yourself as DeleD does that automatically when you apply Face commands scale/rotate/etc. |

Thanks. I'm still waiting for the password/instructions to download my purchased Pro version and I see that is where Gen UV is enabled. _________________ George Losey |

Somehow our previous email containing the password/instructions has not reached you. We've resent that email just now.
Note: the Gen. UV with its set of properties is available in the LITE version as well. |

Make sure you are in Face, not Polygon mode. In polygon mode Gen UV is disabled.
As a quick test, you can just select any face/polygon and hit CTRL-SHIFT-F. |
