Is it possible that stairs follow the roundings of a tower? If so how can this be achieved?
Regards. |

You have to move the vertices yourself. _________________

You could use a scaled version of the tower as a reference to help you place the veritces (and delete it afterwards).
If there are standard tools available in other modelers that would make this task any easier, please feel free to tell us about them... |

You can create a single stair and use the clone tool. Just enter some rotation (probably around the Y axis) and some translation offset (the height of each stair on the y axis and some value on another axis to make it easier to select the stairs in the proper order) and there you go. You just have to move the stairs yourself to the right position.
Here, some "rotate around point" extension in the clone command would be cool. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

UnrealED has this. You say how high and the inner and outer radiuses(sp), and you get your stairs. _________________

I've never had any need for tools like that. Manual work is just fine for me. _________________
