Hmmm...Vista seems to be creating all sorts of problems in the Freeware/Shareware realm. _________________

Hi there Gatiel, thanks a lot for posting this issue here!
This message is a technical error caused by a single OpenGL command (DeleD loads all the textures once, then shares them between the different viewports). Seeing how it is an OpenGL issue: is there any chance you could update to a new version of your graphics drivers? Is the vendor of your particular graphics card up to date with Vista drivers? |

Heh... I guess I should have been a bit more specific :p
It's a laptop I'm working with in this case, that came installed with Vista, so I hope that the hardware supports it lol, but will check the driver issue, don't know why I didn't think of that to begin with :p

Edit: Ok, I updated the vid driver, and still get the same errors as listed in my first post. The Video Adapter is an Integrated Mobile Intel 945 GM/GU Express chipset family.
Now, before you say "Theres your problem!", I can use DeleD under the same Adapter useing Windows XP, on a different older laptop. Also, for the Vista Laptop, there don't appear to be any other Driver updates, none that are listing anyway.
I'm really not likeing Vista :p |

I just installed DeleD on my stupid Vista laptop - same problems. Any more information on how to resolve this?
Also, after i click through the errors, only 2 view ports are available (this makes sense considering the reason this is happening) and no object inspector bar on the far right.
After crawling a big through the forums, there are a few other posts with the same problem, sorry to bother you with the same old error. But I figure maybe it'll help things out somehow, if you guys know it's happening on multiple systems. |

Vista...
I still don't have a Vista laptop and have no idea when I will have one. I'm not even sure I want to have Vista pre-installed on that laptop. So, the same situation still goes: we don't have access to Vista machines and therefor cannot solve any Vista related problem yet. |

Maybe people should stop buying machines with shitty intel graphics cards? When haven't people had trouble with those things? nVidia and ATI chips handle opengl as well as ever.
nVidia had troubles with it for awhile, but the last two driver updates fixed most of them. _________________

I just priced a Vista build with Intel X3100 graphics, and it came out to $434. Not a laptop, but great for compatibility testing. Had a Core Duo 6550, too! It can't be THAT much more expensive in Euroland, can it? |
