Guys, i'd like to say I'm very much impressed with the current efforts being made to create new tutorials. As we don't have enough time to create tutorials ourselfs, it's great to see the community picking up in that area. Very Happy

I am trying to follow this tutorial but cannot select a polygon to inset... I am using a 2 button mouse, if that is any help.

First select your object: go into Object mode and use Shift+leftmouse for that
Then select your polygon within the selected object: go into Polygon mode and use Shift+leftmouse for that too. Smile

Let us know if that helps!

Perfect, thank you! Sorry my questions are so dumb right now. Are there any 'getting started' type tutorials, that cover this sort of thing? I want to try and keep the stupid questions to a minimum if I can! Very Happy

I have looked around the help menu but wasn't able to find it...

Hint: read the manual. All actions and how to achieve them are summarized in there. Wink

No, besides the tutorial section of this forum there isn't much available yet... sorry for that.

Some people from the community are working on tutorials (but we can always use help!), but it takes a lot of work. Documentation is one of the things we really need to work on. And we will Smile

That said, we don't mind people asking questions at all, that's what the forum is for, so people can help eachother out. Ask away! When we get to writing more documentation all the questions and answers on these forums will form a fabulous database of useful information Very Happy
