First off your textures aren't crappy... I know because I have those exact same ones... secondly... you just need to learn to define you textures more... using UV controls and light.
Thirdly looking good.
May I suggest trying UV mapping on the cross... and a bit of deleds lightmapping things.... that will add definition.
Deled does have sufficient "bundled" textures to make your scenes look properly.
I'm busy making textures... for UV mapped stairs, pipes, signs and a couple of other props...
Which will be available as deled prefabs a.s.a.p. _________________ Vi Edaz |

The altar looks cool.

Yes, if you create a material with a transparent flame texture (DeleD PRO supports PNG files, for example). Then, you would set the material to not casting shadows and not being lightmapped. You can make some cross for the flame (looking like an + from above). Then, you would put a positional light right over the candle.
Somebody should write a tutorial for this, i'll give it a try _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

Very nice, I like it. But I suggest using a better texture on the lantern things, because it's just a generic texture that wraps around it and ends up hiding it's shape.
The texture you use on the walls is great, and even adds detail that doesn't exist in the geometry. The texture on the laterns makes them look kind of formless, and removes detail that already exists in the model! _________________
