Hi all,

I want to draw box with regular height.
I use "Cube" for drawing by setting different values in Default height

Firstly, I try default height = 10 or 20, the height of objects were not drawn as expected (eg. cube becomes a plane)

When I set to default height = 64, 128, 192, 256 (multiple of 64), the height of objects are ok. Why?

1. Is this related to grid settings? (Major grid = 256 ;minor grid = 64)

2. If I really want to draw cube with height 10, 20, 30, 40, do I need to change grid setting or what should I do?

3. Are these number (64, 128, 192, 256 ) related to resolution of texture file so that the texture could be uv mapped correctly? That's why not recommented to change the values of grid setting?

Thanks in advance.

Yes. or Toggle off snapping.

Deled makes 1 pixel in a texture map equal to 1 unit by default. But don't worry about that. You can texture map your objects any way you like.

There is no recomendation to not change the grid size. Make it whatever you like. Since you are using 10,20, type values, why not change it to 10/100 size?
