Hi all,
Sometimes, it is quite difficult to select the correct objects in top/side/front view. It would be very nice if we could do drag selection in 3D view because we could freely move in 3D view.
Thanks for attention |

Certainly. All selection and editing should be possible in 3D views as well. Don't know when dragged selections will be implemented though, but I'll keep you posted of course! |

I'm on your side on this, sammy. Also, there is a very cool feature in Blender that lets you have a circle which you can use as a selection brush. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

I agree -- for complex scenes, even with the click-through feature (shift-click more than once) it's hard to get at the specific polygon you want to select. You'll typically end up modeling pieces, and then putting them together in a separate scene, and then having to go back and edit the piece if you find it doesn't quite fit. |
