Hi all,

When I draw a cube filled with texture "Floor02", I find that the texture is too large. Is there any simple way to half the size of the texture?

Thanks in advance.

Of course, there is, but it depends on how you define 'simple'. You would just have to select the face(s) (not polygons!), select 'scale' and enter 50% or 200%, this depends on how you define 'large' Wink

Thanks a lot! Very Happy

My definition of 'simple' means there is no need to deal with uv editor.

Some more questions...

If we change the uv scale to 43% (eg.) and then to other values and finally want to restore to default values, is there any way to do this?
(except undo and draw the objects from scratch)

Thanks in advance.

Sure, you can either

1. Return to 'dynamic' texture generation for all of the object, by opening up the Object Inspector and setting the property Auto UV to true. You might have to click anywhere in the scene to active it.

2. Go into 'face' mode, select the faces you want, and hit Gen. UV to regenerate the default UV coordinates for those faces.

Method 2: ok (there is 3 options for Gen UV. Must we select second one (selected polygons)

Ad 1) Try moving the object around in the scene, you should now see the textures being re-generated real-time.

Ad 2) You can also use 'all polygons in selection', if you want to reset the textures for all polygons in the selected primitive(s).
