Hi there,

How can I import a .obj model with textures? I copied the texture in the right folder but it isn't applied to the model.

The .obj model is exported with DAZ Studio. Importing the model in Hexagon is not a problem, it's completely textured.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards.

Importing a textured .OBJ should work just fine. Perhaps there is something about the .MTL file (there is a .MTL file, right?) the importer does not recognize... looks like you stumbled upon an issue with the plugin there.

If you could send me (paul [at] delgine [dot] come) that model (incl. .mtl and textures, if possible) so I can update the plugin to support it, that would be great!

Hi Paul,

I sent you the file by e-mail.

Regards,

Michael

Thanks for sending it! Turns out the .OBJ importer didn't support texture files in a subfolder yet. I've fixed it and released a new version of the importer. Read about it here, download it here. Screenshot:
