What I did.
Made a cylendar
Edge mode-->selected one ends vertices
Extruded 6-8 times in small increments
then, vertex mode-->moved vertices into place.
Object looks great in all 3 views, but renders flat in the 3d screen?
How can I retain the roundness while extruding and moving vertices?
(to select edges, I drew a box to highlight)
(to select vertices, I drew a box to highlight)
These are 2 tools that I've never used in DeleD, so am probably not using them correctly. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

Hmm, I don't quite understand what you're trying to do. Can you post a picture? |

Sure
If you look at the tentacles, they appear flat. (even tho they appear round in wireframe view.) _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.

Perhaps you scaled the cylinder and you had an axis restriction (the X/Y/Z buttons) activated, so you only scaled in one dimension? _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

Nope. I've never used those buttons before. I'm going to attempt to remake it, and hopefully it will come out better. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.
