Still in beta, but getting better and better. Quote from the changelog:

Get it from the Importer Plugin Download Section. If you run into any issues with this importer, especially texturing issues, please report them. It would be especially great if you could provide a .MAP file to illustrate the problem! |

Sweet, indeed its getting better. This time around it would load a map saved from 3ds max.
However it cant load the same map save out of constructor.
"[ is not a floating point value" it sez.
grab pipe.map (from max) and pipe_con.map (same file loaded into constructor and saved as map again)
