Excellent work although it has not much to do with DeleD.

I was going to say: "Character art in DeleD? You're mad l33t!" But, alas. Still, pretty detailed work!

Btw: I think the arms look too short. The fingertip-to-fingertip span should be the same as the bottom of the feet to the top of the head. Or perhaps it's just the perspective that makes them look short.

They should come down to the middle of the thigh (according to all my figure drawing books).

Awesome geometry and even more awesome texturing!

Btw, I wonder what kind of tools we would need to implement in DeleD if we want character modeling to be possible... I mean, there are a lot of tools, of course, but what would be the most basic ones needed?

maybe the tool "split polygon into: and then 2 ore 4 poly's"

like this:
you first have one poly:
-----------
l............l
l............l
l............l
-----------
and then you can change that into:
horizontal split:
-----------
l............l
l---------l
l............l
-----------
or you do a vertical split:
-----------
l.....l......l
l.....l......l
l.....l......l
-----------
or you can choose to split it in 4 poly's like this:
-----------
l.....l......l
l----l-----l
l.....l......l
-----------
that would be great

Confused it doesn't show how i want Mad

DONT TAKE A LOOK AT THE DOTS THEY ARE JUST TO FILL IT UP Razz

I think the most important one's would be a cut tool, edge bevel would also be very helpful.

I also find it difficult to precisely change the geometry how I want to on a higher poly model.
- Cannot edit in 3D view
- Cannot comfortably manipulate a group of vertices
The last point improved with the magnet tool, however, you still have to select but one vertex. I had a try on creating a head out of a high poly sphere using the magnet tool but it didn't turn out well. Maybe I wasn't beeing patient enough.
