You did a great job. I thought the ears were too small until I saw the rendered/textured view. Smile Well done.

very cool Very Happy, now texture it with your reference's (good practice) Wink

if you have a good reference of the complete dog standing in that position and then a foto from the side. then it's not difficult to texture.

use the way i explaned (scroll down): http://www.delgine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2398

and then scale to X

The eye region looks a bit strange to me. Other than that, this model is pretty much awesome!

glad you like it! can you pinpoint exactly what looks strange about the eye region so I can fix it? trying to make it as realistic as possible so any criticism helps!

heres a shot from the directx viewer tool and one from milkshape, its completely rigged but no animation yet.

The only thing I see about the eyes that looks odd, is the same problem with the nostrils. They are diamond shape instead of round/oval shaped.
It's looking great tho. It definately looks like a bassett. Smile

ok I kinda rounded them a bit but it's kinda hard to tell the difference when it's textured. Confused

I threw some textures on him without much modifing, need to touch it up. after it's done i'll import him back into deled with a different pose and render the result.

I'm a bit late to the show, but I loooove what you did with the mouth, and it was really great to browse through the thread from start to end watching the model evolve!
