I can't seem to Bevel anything anymore. I just unselect the verts.
edit-
Odd. after several attempts to bevel, I tried to delete a face, and Deled stopped responding. _________________

Yes, the same as Daaark except the DeleD "non" response, but + an access violation while playing with the bevel command and then a "list index out of bounds (6)". _________________ OL. |

Ok, that's no good, of course! Will get into that a.s.a.p. Not this weekend though, as I'm visiting PJ at the moment and probably won't do much programming.
Btw, is the problem local to 1.72 or does this also happen in earlier versions? How can I reproduce the error? |

I don't have an earlier version anymore. (Infact, I'm using 1.72 beta). I imagine it doesn't happen in earlier versions because it used to work fine.
Just select some vertices with bevel, and then try and click + drag to bevel them. The click just un-selects the vertices.
You and PJ should take a picture while together, let us see what you too look like. _________________

Yep, I haven't been able to reproduce the error either. Any suggestions? |

I've just made another test with a fresh install of the 1.73 version (full install).
I still have the bug.
It seems that it only happens when beveling from the front view ?
Draw a cube in the front view, select all the vertices at the right, bevel them to the right (I know it's stupid but this is the way the bug appears)
: nothing happens (ok).
Do the same thing a couple of times.
Now select all the top vertices, and bevel them ... you have a first error message (access violation).
Click in the front view again (and drag ?) : 2nd error message (list index ...).
Now close DeleD, we have our third error message : Invalid pointer operation.
Also while trying to make screenshots :
Draw a cube in the front view, right click in the front view, select quick screenshot, save your picture.
Try to select the cube in the front view : it is impossible.
HTH !
Happy debuging _________________ OL. |
