Hi. I'm new to DeleD and I want to make a new texturepack. I opened default.dtp file in Notepad and got this

DeleD Texturepack File
6
0 System
1 Floors
2 Nature
3 Roofs
4 Walls
5 Wood
16
0 0 system.bmp
1 1 Floor02.jpg
2 1 Floor04.jpg
3 1 Floor10.jpg
4 1 Floor11.jpg
5 2 Water01.jpg
6 3 Roof03.jpg
7 3 Roof04.jpg
8 4 Wall01.jpg
9 4 Wall02.jpg
10 4 Wall06.jpg
11 4 Wall10.jpg
12 4 Wall11.jpg
13 4 Wall12.jpg
14 5 Wood01.jpg
15 5 Wood02.jpg

I figured out some of what these mean but could someone more experienced explaine it to me.

Thanks in advance

Hi kkzgreen

I shouldent worry about texturepacks, the new version of DeleD is due out soon which will use materials.,it's realy cool Wink

The next version (0.91) will not have texturepacks/texturepack manager anymore as everything will be replaced by materials. DeleD will include a Material Editor with which you can manage your materials.

Hi kkzgreen and welcome to these forums! Smile

Granada is right, the Texturepack Manager will be replaced by a Material Editor very soon. We will be working very hard on it today and hopefully we'll be able to release the next version tonight. If we don't succeed today, it will be released somewhere in the next few days (it's always the last 2% of work that takes the most time Wink).

I know what you mean Jeroen. My hobby is game programming with DarkBasicPro and it's always the last and the easiest (I know I didn't spell that right) part that gets you stuck. Anyways, I'm really looking forward to this new version.

EDIT: I din't realize that it was already out when I wrote this. I'm about to download it. Thanks for all the replies.
