It is difficult to work on small objects as we cannot get close enough to our objects if they are small. In torque, an doorway is 2 Deled squares tall.
Here's an example:

If I attempt to get closer than that, I can no longer see anything eccept white. It makes it difficult to work on tiny objects.
btw, for info, I'm using the default settings.

the minimum size is 1 so I guess you need to scale your geometry down after export or your apply a transformation matrix before you start to render them

I guess Deled was design with quake in mine there a player is 72 deled units large. this had the advantage of using interger coordinates instead of floats in former times and most sizes are powers of two, which is easier to handle in my opinion

if you need to get closer just press shift and the right click and move it up...this is if you don't need to use the grid...if you do...well i haven't got the minnimun idea Laughing

Didn't know that trick. Smile I'll give it a try next time.
With things that small, Grids are no help.

This is very much a valid request. Indeed DeleD was originally designed to work with scenes on a larger scale, and the limits you are facing are remnants from that original decision... but we are slowly working on getting rid of those limits.

In the meawhile, I advise you to work on a bigger scale and set the scale of the exporter to 0.1. But keep reminding us of these issues whenever you into them, we should get the fixed one by one.

Thanks for the replys.
I found that the star was too small anyway, so had to stretch it. I mostly run into problems with making small items like coffee cups and such. In Torque, you can only scale down so far. If I make a cup the size of 1 square in deled, it will be half the height of the orc avatar. I can size it down by half that, but that is still way too large for a cup. I'll try the 0.1 setting and see if that helps.
