I just uploaded a screenshot of a thing i made using the plugin

it is made up of 3 parts
1 x a straight line path with circle profile (scaled at one end)
1 x circle path (0-90 degrees arc) with circle profile
1 x circle path (180-270 degrees arc) with circle profile
all merged and welded together
very quick and simple
cheers,
Paul |

I just updated the plugin with a start and end scale for the profile as it moves along the path (circle and line paths only)

Hi guys,
Jeroen was having trouble getting the plugin to work and I realised that I had to make a small change to it.
I have now updated my download link (http://fpc4gp2x.eonclash.com/downloads/ExtrudeAlongPath.zip) with a new version that also includes a readme file with instructions
Jeroen is going to update the official download available on this site, but in the meanwhile, feel free to download this new version
Sorry about the trouble...
PS. MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
cheers,
Paul. |

I'm glad you got it working ok now
Just consider it an early Christmas present to the DeleD community !
PS. I will be upgrading it to include smooth curves with control points or similar for a path and possibly other options in the future.
cheers,
Paul |

This is pretty cool. I had to redownload the pluggin to get the right one, but the instructions are very clear and easy to understand. (for non artists like me)
I took an eclips and a poly line drawn into a funky shape and came up with this:
I like it. It will give me hours of fun creating things. Thankyou for making this pluggin. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.
