I thought of two new features: 1.Snapping the cards (Object, Scene, Material and Create/Edit), because sometimes i pull them out of theyr possition, and when i put it back, they are in a fals order.
and 2. Moving Textures, so you could create a flowing river, or light or many other things and Deled gets mode interactive (also things like animations, . . .). _________________ ♥♦♣♠♥♦♣♠♥♦♣♠♥♦♣♠♥♦♣♠♥♦♣♠♥♦♣♠♥♦♣♠ |

with the 2.0 version you can create flowing rivers, and other animation. But you say interactive light: that will need ALOT of programming and i don't think paul jan and jeroen have that much time.
when the cards are in the wrong order you can do 2 things: close deled, or pull them all out and put them back in the right order. |

this moving water thing is more a feature that could be implemented by the user with the use of vertex shaders. |

if you want that they'll have to make deled shader based, which i think will happen in the future (maybe even 2.0 with normal-mapping?) but otherwise not in the near future. |

Did they explicitly say texture animation will be implemented?
Moving lights would probably just be light object attached to meshs that are animated. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

no, but you could create a cilinder, delete the round polygons make it in the path of the river: then add a water texture and animate it so that it will go round and round and round
just a way to make a flowing river without animated texture's, although .gif animation would also be nice to have |

I think everybody uses shaders for that kind of stuff these days, so I'll put 'animated textures' into the shader category. Although some (mostly older) engines have some default UV coordinate animations (cycle up/down/left/right) that might be nice to have too... but you'd have to realize that if you used such animation inside DeleD, only very few 3rd party applications could actually handle that kind of animation.
I am not entirely sure what you mean by "snapping the cards", but it looks like Elementrix does so perhaps you guys can explain to dimwitted me what you mean?
If you undock any of the windows and re-dock them, they end up last-in-row. This can be annoying, but you can use the same technique to re-order them any way you want.
Are you asking for
1. A simpler way to re-order them?
2. A way to lock them so they can't be undocked that easily?
3. Que? |

Also a possibility would combine "Lock Views" and this feature request. So if "Lock Views" is on you can't undock any windows. |

Putting the request on the list.
Interesting suggestion on how to reuse the lock views option for this, Nocturn... but I think separating the two would be a bit more convenient. Personally, I change my views all the time, but I never change the docking of my windows, so 'unlocking' the windows when unlocking the views would be a bit inconvenient. |
