don't found any key/shortcut to do that.
it can be pretty usefulll to move the camera to the selected item
especially when trying to adjust vertrex positions in maximum zoomed view
for exemple i can move my vertex in zoomed out view to near the place i want it to be, then zooming in to the max, hit the key to be right on it and having just to tweak is position. without the hassle of moving the view with the mouse.
a picture to explain what i mean
1 select a vertex
2 move the vertex near to where i wan't to position it
3 zoom to maximum without moving
4 hit the center the view on selection shortcut
i just have to move the vertex where i wan't
the green cross represent the center of the view.
but the selection could be anything, object, face, edge etc... |

There's "Focus on selection" in the context menu, it only works with objects though. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

having this on vertex selection could be a real time saving function
or maybe a crosshair in the center of each view to position the camera on the point we wan't to zoomin |
