i think that i would be one of the greatest features that deled could have...i mean (as you can notice in one of the polls made)...people prefer an all-in-one model package...i prefer it too...because you wouldn't have to be exporting-importing-exporting-importing and changing from software every time you need to make a task...you get my point?? _________________

Yeah I'd love to animate and model with the same program
About those school lessons, at our school there's SketchUp too at the computers, I even did that today , but in my class I think there aren't very much people who can learn to model, it's very hard if you don't really wan't to do it anyway or have no interest in it.
And by the way, they're all 14/15 years old, like me, but maybe some older high-school students who want to go that way will like it.
I also put DeleD on wikipedia today at the 3D-modelling-software page. (Just a link to the site, someone should write an article on wikipedia, with screenshots and stuff, you know.) |

Your edit has been made undone by someone. Reason:

(Well, DeleD doesn't fit in the list, It's a 3D modelling program, with a level editor built in, these games listed here are all just game editors for a specific game, and not making your own 3D object) |
There used to be a wikipedia article about DeleD, seems like it's been deleted too. Can't tell why though. The german wiki article is still there though. I guess it has just been bad quality.
//edit
Nope, it was notability. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ALog&type=delete&user=&page=DeleD _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

They're just dumb people.... |

I never understood the notability criterium either. It's not like it's an encyclopedia in book form where you would literally have to browse through thousands of irrelevant articles. A digital article doesn't hurt anybody. It's just there and it stays hidden unless people actually do search for it which means that it actually is notable for those people. _________________ Behold! It is frightening that wikipedia defines "new knowledge" anyway. |

deled first didn't work on our school, but It looks like they finally installed the latest drivers (and we are also getting new computers which work great with deled). So now 1300 teenagers are able too use deled, and already 2 are very interested and 1 even bought pro (skruijt).
So we'll see _________________ Chickens RULE | www.elementrix.nl |

Ah, that's pretty cool, Trucker! Added 3DCentral to the list in the "promoting the summer compo" thread. |

I personally think this site would have more users if it were a little more active than it is now. Word of mouth can gain alot of attension. I think if this site had a more active forums and things like monthly contests and just something somewhat fun about it, people would be more in tuned to the program and would give much greater recommendations about the site and programs.
I was just submitting to the polls and started leaving my opinions all until I noticed the date lasted posted to them. I started laughing out loud. So I though I would read through other more recent posts and came to realize that most of these posts are already very old and im still looking at the first page. lmao,,,
The truth is, this rips away my interest in reading any further and I see it as a bad thing. Yes i know that you have a chat you can enter. but with a very still forum, most would probably think, Why bother with deled? by the looks of the forums, it looks as though there is very little support for the program, which then people I would think would just lose interest in reading through it as I did.
I personally love the program and recommend to anyone I know that is looking for a world editor, I always mention it on the game creators site.
if this forum was a little more active i'd be here more often. Again, even this thread is old. |

I agree with you. Activity has to be stimulated more. I like the idea of having monthly contests or any other idea that would make people wanting to come back more often.
As both PJ and I have to spend our time on coding DeleD, we need someone (or multiple persons) to manage this. It might be a good idea to brainstorm about how to raise activity and trying to find people willing to spend some time on a regular basis on this. _________________ Check out Figuro, our online 3D app!
