Under the Scene tab, there's a field for the number of polygons in the scene Wink

The object tab also has a field for the number of polygons in the currently selected object too.

100.000 polygons? That's a lot! How is DeleD handling these amounts?

Well it's kind of slow but I got used to it..Luckily I have a pretty strong computer. it's a wide spread scene so I tend to turn to wireframe mode on perspective view in order to move from 1 area to another.

Alternatively, you can hide parts of your scene using the Visibility tool.

I'm always hiding parts, doesn't affect performance though Sad

If not drawing a substantial part of a scene doesn't affect performance, you've got a really fast graphics card, I think. Smile

Actually it's still slower than it should be.. I think the hiding function is only a visual thing that doesn't affect performance at all..

does deled use intermediate mode or features like VBOs and vertex arrays?

the poor performance points more into the direction of intermediate mode
