When you create a texture as a color, DeleD creates a little 2x2 bitmap with the color.
Normally this is fine, except when certain hardware/engines don't accept anything smaller than 4x4! Perhaps an option can be added to DeleD's options to set the size of the automatically generated color textures.
A simple feature that should not be difficult to add that would make my life easier.
Cheers,

Huh, since when does DeleD it this way? As far as I know, this only happens when a model is exported to a foreign format that doesn't support pure color materials. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

You've got a good point there, Dr. Zoop! Like Mr Fletcher says, this only happens with certain exporters to formats that don't natively support color materials. What exporter are we talking here specifically? I'll do a quick runthrough and fix then.
I think 4x4 should just be the default, the extra size over a 2x2 texture is... well, neglible. |

I am speaking of the DirectX exporter then. I thought all of DeleD did it that way because the only thing I ever use is the DirectX exporter .
Well, there you have it! 4x4 instead of 2x2.
Cheers. |

By the way, is there a way I can modify the DirectX Exporter myself so I can have this change sooner opposed to later? |

JWatte's NuXPorter is open source, so if you feel like tweaking around existing source, make sure to take that one out!
Our exporters are not open sourced at the moment, because the overhead (if small) in doing so didn't pay off (not enough people caring). This may change, but for now they are closed. |
