I've been using DeleD Lite on my PC for almost a year now, and upgraded it to Windows Vista from Windows XP in the fall and had no problems since the Vista compatible version of DeleD was released. I recently bought a laptop and when I try to run DeleD I get the following error:
"Sharing lists with view TfrmTop failed (error - 1073278755: ). Texturing might not work."
The error shows up four times and then it lets me enter DeleD, but the bar at the side with the textures and scene, etc. is gone, and nothing has textures applied to it.
I've checked this forum for other people with a similar problem but couldn't find any. My graphics drivers are also upto date.
My laptop's specs are:
1.86GHz Intel Celeron CPU
1GB RAM
256MB shared memory and on board GPU
Windows Vista Home Premium |

It has something to do with the graphics card / drivers being used. Be absolutely sure you updated your drivers and post your specs here. |

My graphics card is from the Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family. DXDiag says that's also it's name. It came built-in with my Toshiba Satellite A200 and shares 256MB of memory with my RAM.
I'm absolutely certain that I have the drivers updated. I've let Windows search for updated drivers and done a manual search of both Toshiba and Intel's websites. |

I'm running a Satellite A210 and I've got no problems here. Different graphics card built in though. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

This issue has been reported before on a similar combination (Vista + Intel Mobile Express set), it's almost definitely a driver problem. We don't have a solution yet (and are not even sure there is one aside from not using shared textures between the different viewports when encountering this specific problem), but thanks a lot for sharing the info. If it is a driver issue indeed, let's hope Intel produces a new version quickly.
Note how Windows Update is likely to actually downgrade your drivers (has been reported to do so before in a similar combination), the Intel website is leading.
Sorry you had to run into this problem, thanks again for sharing the information. |

Thanks for looking into it. I hope I can get new drivers soon then as my laptop is much more versatile than my PC. |

Same problem with textures on my Vaio running Vista. Restoring the system to prior to 12 Feb, my last Vista update, cured the problem.
Dont ya love it! _________________ George Losey |
