In 3DS, the target weld is where you select a vertex then drag a line onto the vertex you want to weld it to. Most likely in DeleD, you could do it like what you do with CSG (ie subtract), select the vertex you want to weld, then select the target and hit the function button.

Indeed, selecting the vertex/vertices to weld and then the target is the way I would implement this. It's like Paul-Jan already suggested in this topic also.

I think it's not that hard to implement. I'll get into it!

what I think could be unconfortable is that (being that sometimes we do want the weld be placed in the middle between the selected vertices) selecting if you want the weld to be in the middle or in the target...by the time you set that you could be moving the final vertex whenever you want...do you get my point

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly but if you want to weld vertices in their average location, simple select the vertices, use Average and then use Weld.

That actually makes things easier Wink ....So....Weld with selected target defined by user? Smile

Yes, simply select a bunch of vertices and they will be welded at the location of the last selected vertex. I'll implement that for the next release.

I'll do the 3D stuff. PJ is a friendly guy. I'm sure if you ask him nicely, he'll put something simular in there for UV editing. Wink

Edit: I just implement Target Weld for vertex editing. Available in 1.81.
