And why all your e-mails are gone? Except for the fact that you don't have internet... |

If he used a mail client, then the default Client SMTP Service downloads the emails to the harddisk and removes it (after a time) from the server mailbox. Simple. |

You would obviously keep your important messages, you can easily move them between PCs. If you lack transfer hardware, just mail them back to yourself.
Hell, Hotmail accounts give you 5 gb of free storage for files. _________________

It would be nice, while on the subject, if we could change our password information in DownloadeD at least. I saved my emails when I bought DeleD...so it's not much of a problem, but it would be nice - or perhaps linking it to our forum account? |

Everybody makes regular backups of all their files to an off-site location, right?
Right?
It's not a matter of "if" you lose your files, it's a matter of "when." |

Starnick: You are right, that would be convenient. The main reason why it isn't there is that we couldn't really decide on how secure we wanted things to be, so we just decided to let it be until people started to really ask for it... like you just did!
Linking to the forum account is a no-go as far as I'm considered, some people have extremely weak passwords for those accounts (not to mention the occasional security issue in phpbb making them rather easy to fish out)... and as opposed your forum account, there is actually stuff of value behind this login. |

You do? I don't know....... just kidding.
Yes we do, and it came out fine. I think it's a really good idea to keep the passwords seperate. _________________ Some day I will grow up and be a real modeler.
