This is my supposed first try at a real aircraft model... a P 38 in this case. Razz which isn't finished yet... there are many details left to be done.

Please don't be too hard on me...xD

C&C welcome... Smile

It's good if it's supposed to be a toy plane. For a real one it doesn't look real enough, but that could be the lack of textures. Are you sure the model is to scale?

The model doesn't have proper textures, indeed (it's something I'm working at).

About the scale ... I'm sure I've done this model as similar as I could. But I may be wrong, so... what do you think it's out of scale?

The view from behind makes it look like the tail is too wide, but from above, it looks right. The props look a tad thin tho. ( I could be wrong)
It does look like a great start. Smile

Well, I noticed the original one looks like a toy plane too.. Still, some parts are out of shape, like the part in front of the cockpit.

Notice the difference? On your model, it's just a cylinder for two metres and then goes all spiky. Also, the wings look like they should be less wide but longer and also point upwards a bit on the outside. The cockpit itself looks a bit too clumpy, too.

//edit
your propellers are too small

I think it's a good start - we don't see that many planes yet on delgine.com. Very Happy With a nice-looking texture and a bit of fiddling around with the geometry, you'll end up with a terrific model, I'm sure. Keep it up! Smile

Look nice, but I think the front wings should be a bit longer on the
out side of the engines and it will look more like the photo.

Im not sure but from the look of the photo it look like the
wings should be bended up a little bit.
