Not sure if its a bug or not, but I made the cave as in Elementrix's cave tutorial, and I got all the way to the 'smoothing' point. Catmull clark wasn't available to me, so I was trying the Doo-Sabin, but it doesn't smooth. Instead it make every corner jut out into a seemingly random portion of itself, giving the entire cave a jagged ruined look.

PS: The rounding percentage thing doesn't seem to help or even change anything at all.

check if there aren't any polys in the middle between the connections, maybe you left do not delete original polys enabled (or something like that) Smile

That's most likely a case of bad geometry. Check what santatu said or maybe the walls are two-sided or some vertices are not welded that should be.

And yes, turned out some things needed to be welded. Woohoo! Now I can move on!
