2 more WIP shots for you guys to enjoy:
C&C are welcome.
EDIT: that gate you see in the back of the first screenshot is the gate to the previous village I showed |
You see in this picture (btw good work elementrix i love it) that the path goes right through the terrain but isnt an abrupt texture change. What I mean is how do you make a realalistic path that goes beside another texture without a really abrupt change. |

The path is part of the base texture. Real texture blending how you would think of it is not yet supported in DeleD. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

That's not really how it's meant to be... the two layers are not simply put into one texture file, but you have two textures - the base map and the detail map. Those two are blended together in your engine (using multitexturing). You can do this in DeleD, add another layer to the material with the detail map and set the blend mode to Modulate. _________________ Behold! The DeleD Wiki! Please help us expanding it

or use alphablend which I did (because modulate didn't export). But if you just want to do it for a screen in deled, modulate is better. _________________ Chickens RULE | www.elementrix.nl |

[JohnnycomeLatetly]Why 2 polygons, and not just the second layer of the texture unit?[/JohnnycomeLately] _________________
